So I've been a sort-of shadow online of late, but this is just because I got a job at Ireland's newest and biggest Night-club, The Wright Venue. So for 3-4 days, I'm running around like a headless chicken, then for the other days, I'm asleep :P.

The other reason for me not being online much, is because I'm currently staying at a nearby hotel [paid for by the club xD], so I'm nowhere near settled yet. So for the last 2 weekends, I've come from Galway to Dublin, then I've gone home again.

Myself and a friend [who got me the job and is the IT Manager], are hopefully moving into a house close by this week, but he's not wanting me to meet the landlord, which I find incredibly strange, and irritating. I've come to the conclusion that he's afraid confrontation [you know what I mean =xadacka], but I can't afford a place on my own, so I'll just have to deal with it.

So in other words, I'm pretty eager and optimistic to get settled here so I can do my job properly, but also pretty anxious about the whole house thing

I'm still stoked about the job, and can only mean things can get better. Finger's crossed I don't screw this up!

Hey, what's kickin'? I'm Sinan, and was born and raised Aussie. I call Perth, Western Australia home, but am over in Ireland making the most of it.

I currently work in The Wright Venue, Ireland's biggest, and Europe's best Nightclub, which is pretty awesome xD.
I'm pretty easy going, being open and [hopefully] approachable for most things.

Into loads of different things, from just relaxing, to clubbing, to gaming, to partying in general, to just messing about [on the computer or otherwise :P].

My life revolves around Music. So much so, that you could call it my religion. As a result, I feel at home in most music scenes, but I mainly listen to Rock, Alternative and Metal.
I'm also into loads of dance, like Electronic, Progressive, Trance, and a little House and Techno. I'm also into a little Hip-Hop. Can see for yourself at my Last.fm profile.

I have a particular love of Photography, and with Sound Engineering, but I'm also experienced in Video Editing and Graphic Design.

hmm, well from my experience, a graphic designer would be using InDesign or Illustrator, to make brochure's, poster's, local directories etc.

But if I wanna photo manip. artist you're my first port of call ;)

Good point, I haven't posted any of the Event posters or Mag spreads I have done over the years because they are partly things I did while still learning and in my opinion show it. Maybe I should just put them up there anyway...

yes, you should. Unless you did them for the graphic design company then of course.

Like I used be an intern at a Graphic Design company over here, and while the stuff I did had absolutely nothing to do with my other work, I would have gladly put even a part of it up if it was freelance. My first MidLans poster > [link] was done while I was working there. But because I did it freelance [while using the studio's printer :P] it ended up here

Argh! in coming to the conclusion that I should put them up there anyways I can't find them! All my old work is such a mess of back-up drives and flask sticks.

I think that should be my next project, before anything else should be the filing of ALL my work in order! :faint:

Well first things first, all those spare bits of paper you have laying around. Make sure you READ what on them before you throw them out, you may need em. Next thing to keep in mind is to make sure that all the stuff you decide you do want to keep goes in it's own boxes; Teddies with teddies, books with books, Important paperwork all in the one box and so forth :D

Argh listen to me, I'm giving lessons in packing rofl!
